Project 2 Walk Cycle & Jump Animation
Instruction
Progression 1- Walk cycle
Figure 1.1 Reference picture
Figure 1.2 5 rough sketch
Figure 1.3 3 steps
Another 4 frames are drawn to make the character walk in a smoother and natural way. A total 9 frames are drawn.
Figure 1.4 Tied down
I have drawn the tied down character and later on is refined by removing the feathery lines. When everything is drawn the character is arranged properly by using the front leg that does the first step as the anchor point. Each frame is then edited on 2.

Progression 2 - Jump Animation
Figure 2.1 Time-lapse of jump animation process
First, I got the reference picture from my friend and tried to understand every frame. After arranging all the frames, I took the rough sketch i drew from walk cycle and readjust everything according to my character, proportion-wise, size-wise. Then, after all rough sketches were done, i made sure they were smooth before i started drawing tied down. When all is done, I have edited them on 3 which is the smoothest jump.
