Task 1 Empathy Map
Instruction
In this module, we are collaborating with business school to produce prototypes or mock-ups of an app design. The app is called Quantocube Services, which offers a centralized platform where homeowners can easily connect with a wide range of contractors known for their craftsmanship.

In week 1, we formed our group and started our discussion on Task 1
Fig 1.4 Week 2 Feedback
After week 2's class, this is the feedback we have received from Ms, Li Lian. We were told to consult the client regarding their needs and requirements in this project to ease our execution. Then, we proceeded with the user personas and empathy map.

Reflection
Experience:
It was my first time having to do a presentation at such an early stage of the semester, which put me under some pressure at the start of the semester. It was quite an interesting project to work on because I have never worked on projects that mainly focus on UIUX design, as an animation student, it is truly a challenge for me to think of ideas and research on app design. Besides, I have never worked with people outside my circle of friends but this time I got to experience and work with skilled people who are not my friends which inspires me how skillful they are. I am grateful to have met my groupmates, hopefully, we get to produce the best outcome for the client at the end of the semester.
Observation:
During our presentation, I noticed that the content in our presentation slides contained too much information which caused the audience unable to digest the information in a short time. To keep the audience's attention on our presentation, we should make our content short and sharp allowing the audience to keep up with the presenters' pace. This will keep them engaged in our presentation and able to give feedback after the presentation is done. However, we were proud of our outcome and we will be more aware of the slides' content in the future.
Findings:
I realised the importance of research methods playing an important role in conducting a project plan. If we had survey or interview responses, we would be able to confirm our direction in the project and the entire process of creating the problem statement would have been smoother. It was a nuisance for us when we had to skip that part due to time constraints because we needed the responses from the homeowners and contractors to understand their pains and needs. This will also ease the process of designing the problem statement. Thankfully, we were able to design the problem statement even without any research method.
