Final Reflection

Honestly, throughout this semester, I felt exhausted from the amount of workload coming from 5 different modules. I did not manage my time well and every week is either we had new task to do or we have to show our progress. In a way, it is good to train our discipline, keep us close to the project we currently working on, but yea it gets exhausting sometimes. Throughout this semester, I would say the final project is my favourite although it took more time to complete, but I actually love the application that I did, whether it be the old or the new ones I submitted, I enjoyed looking at it once it is all done. The thing about design is that your idea often gets rejected,  people might not admire your work no matter how much you are into it. Design is a very subjective thing, people out there might think it's not an art, but there WILL be someone who admires your work. I personally learn things slowly plus I came to taking design as my degree without having any design background before, struggles a lot. I often doubt myself and I seek validation from people. This is something I have to work on, expose myself more to design or art stuff, to improve my vision on art, and how everything unites together to forma  piece of art. Advanced Typographhy is definitely more tougher than Typography, we have to apply the fundamentals learnt in Typography and starts implementing real-world examples into our work. I would say it was tough but a great experience for me even though it would not be the specialisation I pursue in the future, but hey I get to tell people that I know how to design typeface, I have my own typeface, I know typographic systems which would be cool in a nerdy way, HAHAHAAH. Last but not least, I just want to show my deepest gratitude to Mr.Vinod for being a great lecturer, even though he might not be patient sometimes but as a lecturer he did his part as much as he can.  Thank you for always guiding me when I am lost and I wish a lifetime of blessings to Mr.Vinod and his family, even though Graphic design is not what I pursue next year but it was great meeting you! Thank you and see you again <3.
